by admin on August 27, 2012 Aug 27, 2012 By Daniel Drew In a recent e-mail to his subscribers Brad Callen suggested that: Do NOT Listen To Google, Listen to TEST Results! Weve been testing like mad dogs all the things that Google says dont work And weve got nothing but positive findings! Link building still works, and it works REALLY well. For a long time, I have been advocating creating accounts on authority websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. This is so you can build content on them to generate traffic to your site.
In a link spam sort of way, Brad Callen goes on to suggest that you should now do links to your authority sites. do NOT spam your authority website accounts with back links. Besides the fact that each authority website has their own algorithm, why would you start practicing black hat techniques on your other accounts? Do you think Google cant tell that you just sent 1,000,000 blog comments to your LinkedIn account? Of course they can, spam is spam. Spam doesnt stop being spam just because youre no longer pointing it at any page on your website. You should be using your accounts on your authority websites to syndicate your own unique content. You should use your accounts on authority sites to interact with potential clients customers from these different places.
You should also create fresh content on your authority accounts. It is fine to have people syndicate your content, just as long as the keyword back links are nofollow, and also the site(s) syndicating the content gives attribution back to your authority content.
I will be the first to admit that black hat does work. In fact, people make tons of money doing it, at least until they get caught. The key phrase being until they get caught. They spend all this time, energy, and money to try and deceive Google, just for temporary rankings. Stop the insanity.
Stop trying to game the system. How many of these experts have steered you down the black hole of black hat SEO, and then had to help you fix your sites because of all the black hat SEO you did because they suggested it? We will never share or sell your information.
